• Susan Phelps Pearson hopes to die with brush or hammer in her hand. An art major at Carleton College, she has exhibited in Scotland, California, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. She paints landscapes and produces multimedia assemblages and plans to exhibit 80 works for her 80th birthday in 2017.
